Gihimugso means natawo or gipakatawo, gi-anak. Though gihimugso is more of general or wider use than gi-anak. Gihimugso means give birth to a person or an idea while gi-anak pertains to give birth to a person.

Sample:
1) Gihimugso kining bisdakwords nga site uyawat makatabang sa atong bagong henerasyon nga dili sila malimot sa paglitok sa bisaya nga pulong. (Thus we’ve given birth to this site bisdakwords to aim that newer generation could still speak and understand bisaya dialect)

2) Gihimugso si Pedro sa Pebrero biente utso mil nuybe sientos nubenta (Pedro was given birth on February 28, 1990 or more direct english translation, Pedro was born on February 28, 1990)

Tagalog: Nagiging, Ipinanganak
