Funny that in Bisaya, there are several words that is also a prefix for another not just two or three but many words. Like “Giti”, “Kala” is a Cebuano word which is derive from a sound of a basketball circling around the ring but eventually goes out! Check here for more meaning of “Kala” or “Kala-kala”.
