Bisdak Words

Dail (as in read as dah-el), bisaya term for fullmoon.

Agik-ik means small series of laughs; chuckle. Sample: Sige lang kog agik-ik sa salida ni Mr Bean (I’m always laughing when I see Mr Bean movies)

Tadyaw means jar containing water. Commonly seen in kitchen in older days.

In bisaya “wadwad” means to work hard.

Short for tawitaw or yawit, this means murmur.

Similar to “watsinanggo“, means stupid, idiot. Thinking is out of this world.

Similar to tonto, idiot, stupid. When you’re talking with someone that isn’t responding courteously or nicely.

Tonto in bisaya means stupid, idiot.. but this is used most often as verb “ayaw pa tonto” which correspondingly means, don’t be fooled.
