Sinulog from the word “Sulog” which means river current, flow, or tide. Sinulog is a dance or ritual describing the iconic two-steps-forward, one-step-back dance mimicking a river’s flow, performed to honor the Holy Child Jesus (Santo Niño) during Cebu’s grand festival, a major cultural and religious event in Cebu.
