Bisdak Words

Sagubang in bisaya means current undertaking, face or confront the burden. E.g Siya ang nagsagubang sa mga bayranan. (He is the one burdened with the monthly bills.)

Tahas in bisaya means, a mission, a certain task that needs to be accomplished or completed.

Hudyaka means happy, a celebration. Opposite is Bakho.

This means, crying ones heart out. To much pain. See also nagbangutan. Opposite is hudyaka.

Root word “bangutan”, means too much pain or to much sorrow, after a loss of someone. Another bisaya term for “nagbangutan” is “nagbakho”. Opposite is hudyaka.

Tulisok or verb form, gitulisok, this means, to point a finger to someone’s face.

From the bisaya word “tataw”, means clear.. Gitataw is a verb which means to clear out, to clarify, has/have clarified.

Bagotbot or bagutbot means murmuring, complaining.
