Visayan Folk Dances

Philippines is rich in cultural arts, one of it is the art of  dancing. Do you know that Visayan region has dance names? We’ll one of it is the famous Sinulog (basically Cebu in Origin). Some of these are even danced as part of school competition in the region. Here are other Visayan Folk Dances to wit:

Sinulog (worship dance)
Kuradang (wedding dance)
Itik-Itik (mimetic dance)
Mananagat (mimetic dance)
Mananguete (mimetic dance)
Gapnod (worship dance)
Surtido Cebuano (square dance)
