These words seems absurd, funny, gross, hilarious, name it but it refers or describe an act of eating (we’ll include cooking as well). Some of local food stalls even named their stores after this.
Busog – full
Busdik – very full, stomach is full about to burst
Habhab – to eat greedily
Lamon – a bit of Tagalog but widely adapted word, same as habhab
Tungab – to drink directly from the bottle
Yarok – same as tungab but done all in one shot!
Tilok – eat it all (up to last piece or if liquid, up to last drop)
Sinaw – nothing left
Nganga – to open mouth wide
Tila – to lick
Kitkit– Gnaw, nibble
Tuk-an – choke
Tuskig – hard, over cooked
Tul-id – cannot bend stomach
Kinamot – use hands to eat
BH – Bring home or bring house
SuTuKil – Sugba Tula Kilaw (Grill, Stew, Raw)
